The LAIR crib reflects the signature style of architect Hynek Maňák. It combines Dřevotvar’s time-honored craftsmanship, modern Scandinavian design, and strict safety standards to create the perfect haven for your little ones to sleep peacefully.
The LAIR crib is made from a combination of sturdy MDF and solid beech wood. Its slatted base can be easily adjusted to two different heights (26 and 58 cm from the floor), ensuring that the crib is suitable for both newborns and older toddlers. By removing three side rails, you can also create a safe opening through which an older child can climb into the crib all by themselves.
The designer behind this playful concept is Ing. arch. Hynek Maňák, Ph.D., from the Brno-based studio MANIAC INTERIER. The design’s main feature is a 100% cotton canopy in gray with a star pattern, which creates a cozy “sky” above the crib. The canopy stimulates a child’s imagination, serves as a play area, and gives the child a sense of security.
